Well told. Thank you so much. Exploring our origins to understand as best we can, who we are and how we came to be the way we are, is I think one of the most important things we can do. I was adopted at birth and made no effort to find my mother until now. Now being 77. Thanks to DNA and the ability to search I've just connected with a half-sister. I too am writing about my adoptive life on Medium. I find that writing is a wonderful tool for becoming more self-aware. I loved your post!
