You are so right in calling out the energy industry and the power of its money as a core problem, or the core problem. It seems to me that if energy could be localized, with each community having its own energy source we'd be much better off. If geo thermal could be tapped everywhere it might bring the power to the people and break the centralized power of big oil. Just a thought.
